Minimum Order Quantity, Explained

The TEXIVOS minimum order is 1,000 pieces per style and colour. This guide shows how that is counted and how to plan a first order around it.

How the Minimum Is Counted

A style is one garment in one construction and one fabric weight. A colour is one shade of that style. MOQ is 1,000 pieces per style and colour, across the size range. There is no minimum per individual size. You decide how the 1,000 pieces are distributed across the sizes within that style and colour.

Your orderMinimum
One style in one colour1,000 pieces
One style in three colours3,000 pieces, 1,000 per colour
Two styles, each in two colours4,000 pieces, 1,000 per style and colour

Why It Is Set per Style and per Colour

  • Each colour is its own fabric lot

Every colour has its own lab dip, its own fabric lot and its own inspection at receipt.

  • Each style is its own production run

Every style has its own pattern, its own cutting plan and its own setup on the sewing line.

Below a certain quantity, that preparation weighs too heavily on each garment. The minimum keeps the preparation in proportion to the order.

Planning a First Order

  1. Start with fewer colours in more depth: the minimum is counted per colour.
  2. Keep one fabric weight across colours of the same style.
  3. Give the size breakdown with your brief; it is confirmed in the order confirmation.

From a First Order to a Programme

Annual capacity is 900,000 pieces. Repeat orders and in-season replenishment are part of how production is planned.
